Confessions by Jaume Cabré

Confessions (original title: Jo confesso) by Jaume Cabré is a complex, multi-layered Catalan novel that explores the theme of good versus evil and how history and past actions reverberate through time. The story unfolds through the fragmented memories of Adrià Ardèvol, a professor of linguistics who has been diagnosed with early Alzheimer's.
